I recently asked for feedback on sample covers for my next historical novel. After some disastrous AI-heavy efforts, I have decided to go with this one. It's very striking, imo, and captures the 'feel' I was looking for.
The story will follow the (mostly invented) adventures of Philip of Cognac or Philip the Bastard, Richard the Lionheart's illegitimate son. We don't know much about Philip, so I can do what I like with him. As the cover suggests, he might possibly have something to do with the Fourth Crusade...
(More to follow, as and when).
Great cover!
